Clinic closed in Mississippi since abortion ban

Mississippi has a near-total ban on abortion that went into effect in July 2022, shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, which originated from a case involving the last clinic in the state.

The last remaining abortion clinic in Mississippi, Jackson Women’s Health Organization (often called the Pink House), ceased providing abortion services and closed its doors in July 2022.
