Clinics closed in Idaho since abortion ban

Idaho Protects Life

Idaho’s “trigger law” banning nearly all abortions went into effect on August 25, 2022. The law allows for extremely limited exceptions for rape, incest (with police report), and to prevent the death of the mother.

Prior to the ban, there were three clinics in Idaho that provided abortion services, including Planned Parenthood locations. Following the implementation of the ban, all clinics in the state stopped offering abortion care.
