Clinics closed in Oklahoma since abortion ban
Oklahoma Protects Life
Prior to the state’s abortion ban taking effect in 2022, there were four clinics providing abortion care in Oklahoma. Following the implementation of the strict bans, all four of these providers ceased offering abortion services, leaving the state with zero operational abortion clinics.
Data from the Guttmacher Institute shows that out of the clinics that stopped providing abortions in Oklahoma, two clinics closed entirely, and the other two remained open to provide services other than abortion.
